Photographing apparel is related directly to event work and cycling. This has led me to work within the fashion industry, working on assignment at catwalk events and private catalogue shoots for designers. I have worked with models (experienced and novice), hair designers and makeup artists to create ‘the look’ a designer requests, on occasion sourcing all components for a fashion shoot, the location, models, hair, makeup, lighting, other photographers and refreshments. Effective communication and detailed planning are vital in these type of projects.
