Photographing people in their natural habitat is an activity that sits closely with the majority of other gallery items, often the social elements of events and sports involve photographing people, not necessarily what they are doing. I try to use natural light to photograph people, especially if this is being done to capture them in their environment, though I do use flash and off camera lighting. I prefer shooting subject reportage style but some people actively want to look at the camera, pose and want their picture taken. For events such as Pride and Comicon, the players tend to actively want to be photographed, which makes my job easier.
