I have covered many different event types, from product launches and trade show, through to awards ceremonies and black tie dinners. These often demand some tact and diplomacy, there is a job to do in capturing the event itself, but also a need to be polite and professional with members of the public, who often get louder and more inebriated as the event goes on. Many people want their photograph to be taken so you need to balance the needs of individuals, groups and the needs of the job itrself.
